====== Item List ====== ==== Insert article: ==== - Click the //catalog// button to insert items. Alternatively, click on the right mouse button in the article list area to open the context menu and click //New > Open Catalog//. - You will see an overview of all your manufacturers. Select a manufacturer with a click, then the desired catalog and finally the item you want to insert into your article list. - Insert the article into your article list with a click. Note: Searching for items is possible once you have selected a manufacturer. These are supplemented by the user. | |**Set items** |Combine multiple items into one item line. In addition, the following options are available in the context menu: * Collapse all: Hide subitems * Expand all: Show sub-items ==== OSC Pro : Edit manual articles ==== You can insert manual items into your project via Item List > Manual Item. Items from your custom catalog (OSC Pro PRO) are also inserted as manual items. You assign an article image, manufacturer and series ID, article number and article texts to manual articles. If required, you can specify the purchase price and sales price for manual items in different currencies. ==== Save article list ==== At check-out, you have the option of sending or saving your item list as an order ==== Update article: ==== You can tell whether your articles contain up-to-date data by the symbol to the left of the article in the article list: ^Icon ^Designation ^Background | | |Current |The article and its configuration are supported. Prices and texts are up-to-date. | | |Updatable |Article and configuration are supported by the current data. Prices and texts have not yet been updated. | | |Migrable |The article is included in the current product data. However, its configuration is not supported. | | |Unknown |It has not yet been checked whether the article is supported by the manufacturer's current product data. | | |Invalid |The article no longer exists in the current data. | You can update several articles together using the Update button: - Multi-select several items from your list. - Click the Update item button in the dot menu above the item list. ==== Why update? ==== The update of articles is used to compare the article data. For example, if you want to make changes to an old project and check beforehand whether the items included are still available, use **Update Article**. Also, if you want to re-offer a previously created project with current prices and configuration options, **Update Article** will quickly bring you up to date. As soon as you change an item characteristic, the data for the item is automatically updated. Any changes that have been made for an article under **item calculation** or in the article texts will not be overwritten by the update. ==== View and change the price date for items ==== As soon as you have selected an item, you will see its price date in the product information on the right side of the OSC Pro. You change the price date as follows: - Right-click on one or more selected articles in the article list on the left. - The context menu opens. From there, click Update Article. - The Update Article dialog opens. Here you have the following options: * Saved date: The price date saved on the item will be applied to the update. * Today's Date: Update uses today's date as the price date. * Date: Enter a date. - If you choose today's date or a free date, specify in the dialog whether you want to update the default price date of the offer. - Click OK. The item will be updated with the set price date. | ==== Item selector: ==== At the bottom left of the OSC Pro you will find the article selector [Icon]. Here you can set several filters to find items in your current item list: ^Filter line ^Content | |Folder |Select a folder in which the items you are looking for must be located. | |Manufacturer |Select a manufacturer used in the parts list. | |Series |Select one of the series you are using. Is pre-filtered when a manufacturer is selected. | |Article |Filter by item number or part of the item number. Use the three dots at the right end of the line to select which variant of the article number you want to search: \\ - Partial article number \\ - Regular expression | |Article text |Search for components of the article text. Use the three dots at the right end of the line to select all the texts you want to search: \\ - Short \\ - Long \\ - Variant text | After you have made your entries in the filter rows, use one of the three buttons at the bottom of the dialog to: * Select items in the item list * Add items to the existing selection * Remove items from the existing selection ==== Product ==== On the right edge of the OSC Pro, you will see the product information window. Here you will find sales information for the selected article: All data stored by the manufacturer, such as article text, variant text, stored offer texts, product brochures and assembly instructions. Pictures of the product or contact information and much more data are available there. The information can be copied or stored locally. You can use images from the product information in the item list: Drag and drop it from the product information to the image in the image column of the item list that you want to replace. To show or hide the Product Information window, please use the button at the top right of the OSC Pro [Icon].
